My last column was all about making significant changes to enhance the quality of your life. One of the items on my list was to learn something new every day. And so… in pursuit of new discoveries I read an article about how the human body is a parcel of energy that vibrates at a unique frequency and how a disturbance of energy flow can lead to physical or emotional illness. Wow! Powerful information – in fact, it was powerful enough to send me off on a quest to explore alternative therapies that were based on healing with energy.
REFLEXOLOGY I will never forget the absolute joy, excitement and relief in the voice of my dear friend Sonya calling to give me the news that she was pregnant! After 9 long years of trying she was convinced it was all thanks to Reflexology. There were many attempts, many procedures and she had almost reached the brink of giving up. A month later she was advised to try Reflexology and two months later she was pregnant. Was this a chance happening? No! I don't think so. I have heard many similar stories and read testimonials that back up the success of this therapy. Although there are many theories as to how it works, the central tenet is that our nervous system is our ´central wiring´ throughout the body. This whole body wiring system has major hubs, like our feet and hands that correspond to energy zones across the rest of the body. Sensitive, trained hands can detect tiny deposits and imbalances in the feet, and by working on these points they can release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and elimination is improved. I had a brief understanding and now it was time to find a therapist and book an appointment. I called Lesley Redshaw to book my first appointment. Lesley has been practising Reflexology for twenty years and I had met her previously at different events and I felt comfortable and relaxed in her space and enjoyed her calming energy. I eagerly awaited my treatment and my little feet were clean and smelling sweet ready for action.
They were going to be very proud little feet knowing that they were playing an instrumental part in my good health and wellbeing and not solely used for walking, dancing and kicking. I placed my right foot onto the cushion positioned on Lesley´s lap and waited in anticipation for everything I had heard about but never experienced. BIO-ENERGETIC THERAPY WITH ELECTROMAGNETIC DIAGNOSIS

I heard about this particular therapy in conversation with friends who had mentioned that NASA Astronauts were diagnosed by connecting to a similar system while out in space. Just that comment alone impressed me enough to further explore the possibilities of electromagnetic diagnosis.
I was also impressed by the fact that a fully qualified Medical Doctor was the therapist as I knew that it was not a requirement for training. I placed the headphones onto my head and as I faced the computer screen Dr. Olivia proceeded with the scanning and I watched as every detail and cross section appeared.
