I can’t imagine how many facial masks there are on the market, there must be literally thousands.
So how fabulous is it of me - to let you in on a little secret… I know about one of the absolute best facial masks ever!

We’ve all done it, squashed, scrubbed, mushed and mixed several different concoctions for a facial mask. We’ve also tried those single packet solutions hoping that all you have to do is smear it over the face for a bit and ten minutes later, a new you will be revealed! And how often does that happen? It doesn’t matter how closely you look into the mirror, it’s rare that anything is going to change dramatically, but still - you feel okay - because you figure you’ve given your skin a good cleansing and let’s face it (no pun intended) we always need that! But after all this time, of hundreds of different face masks I can now honestly say - you can do so much better!

This new sheet mask by Givenchy is a fantastic product. Firstly it takes all the messiness out of a facial mask and guess what? It really shows results! What a great idea, to load a paper sheet full of healthy skin nutrients. The Givenchy Cica Like Complex is a Cell Therapy. That means that each sheet is soaked with this complex helping to stimulate your own regeneration of collagen beneath the skin and ultimately reduce wrinkles. And it is so easy! You simply take the mask out of the wrapper, no messy fingers, lay the mask over your face making sure that all the holes are in the right place of course, and gently smooth over the face just to make sure you are getting optimal coverage.

While going through this procedure the other night, I did think however, it would probably be best if you were lying down during the ten minutes versus sitting up reading a book, as I was. Not that the mask fell off mind you, but you can’t help thinking that maybe it might, so as I was sitting there I found myself starting to lean back in the chair with my head tilted more and more toward the ceiling.

For goodness sake, how much easier would have been if I had just lied down! Anyway, ten minutes later and there was no rinsing, no peeling, in fact there was no fuss at all, it just took two fingers to lift off the mask and throw it in the bin. How simple was that! Any of the residue left over you just massage into the skin, and did I notice any dramatic changes? Yes, first of all, my hands were dry! Secondly however, there was a new radiance to my skin, of course it didn’t last as long as I would have liked, but that’s probably why you need to do this once a week in conjunction with your general skin care regimen. Overall, I think it’s a fabulous product plus I will be keeping one with me whenever I travel from now on.
It’s not only great for at home, but if you want super skin while you’re away, it’s the perfect thing to take on a trip!
